And I'm not talking about gameplay here. There was a small time "glitch" that allowed players to cross apply the Soaring Sword Ornaments from the year one Crucible sets onto other pieces of armor regardless of it being the Swordflight armor or not. This allowed for a higher degree of customization, but it's recently been discretely patched without a word. This glitch worked by allowing players to reclaim the ornaments from the Competitive tab and apply it to ANY armor. Edit: This also applied to the the ornaments of Vanguard D2Y1 sets Took Offense, Xeno Vale, and Take Shelter. The crucible armors included Binary Phoenix, Swordflight (as mentioned aboved), and Ankaa Seeker sets That's such a low-blow, as that glitch briefly showcased how awesome it would be to be able to have ALL armor sets available as a universal ornament. Yes it was a glitch, yes it should be patched...eventually. But Bungie should have waited until every armor set was available as an extra universal ornament.
