Who misses going to the Dreadnaught?
I miss going to the Dreadnaught, lots of fond memories there, the strikes were fun, the Court of Oryx was a great event, the pvp maps were amazing.
Oryx is dead but you can still see the Dreadnaught in Saturn's rings. I think when Savanthun makes her appearance, the Dreadnaught should come with. (My opinion)
Disclaimer: I'm not asking for recycled content, that ship has been in orbit since D1, it was there in the cutscene after we defeated Ghaul. It is still in orbit in Saturn's rings https://youtu.be/6tXVfbx1Y64
When Bungie introduces Savanthun into Destiny 2, would be a great opportunity to bring the Dreadnaught back. Would be great to see a different landing zone and areas that we have not seen yet. I'm sure the ship has evolved, maybe Savanthun lives there?
Maybe the Dreadnaught is the only thing powerful enough to destroy the pyramid ships? Who knows, feels like there is more story left to see though. It was too important in D1 to completely ignore in D2 (again, my opinion)
Bungie gave us 2 entirely different maps of Mars, why cant we get access to different parts of the ship previously unavailable? Its been some time, the ship has probably evolved, if Savanthun is hiding out there we would have a reason to go. It's not reskin, not recycled if it's a continuation.
I know many of you will disagree , which is why this is a poll... I want to see how many of you would be okay with another playable area of the Dreadnaught.
Edit: if you didnt play D1, the new light part of the poll pertains to you. Sorry for not being specific enough to include Y1 D2 players.

Back in forsaken when loading into a heroic titan adventure, on occasion it showed your ship flying over to the dreadnaught. That wouldn't of happened unless it's in the files. Plus, seeing as Savathun is still forthcoming alongside the potential resurrection of Oryx, in due time it'll be back.

4 回覆I'm just glad Bungie decided to ditch all the old, cool destinations in D1 (Venus, Cosmodrome and plague lands, Dreadnought) so they could introduce vex mustard planet, bootleg venus, mars but small, the donut of mercury, and a corridor over water (with barnacles!). Such a wise choice.

2 回覆The dreadnought brought with it, the creepy dark hive life, had fun challenges, cool exotics, and so much to explore and find. The only place that comes close is dreaming city. I miss calcified fragments too.

6 回覆The crew of “Bungie” shouldn’t be allowed to steal from D1 anymore. Take your butt back to D1 and have something Bungie took from you. It’s called “FUN” See you there

2 回覆I really don't see the need for the Deadnaught to return as we already explored it pretty thoroughly in Destiny 1..I'd prefer something new.

As much as I like the dreadnought I would prefer new content. The moons cool, but I’ve seen it hundreds of times and it has lost its wow factor. If you look at some of the art from the pre production they have some places we have yet to see. The Ice planet with tankers in the walls or the home world of the darkness would be nice additions.

4 回覆I’ve read through the post responses... intriguing seeing the likes and dislikes. The [b]ONE[/b] thing that is [b]CERTAIN[/b], [b]if the dreadnaught [/b] were incorporated into new content, [b]EVERY SINGLE PERSON[/b] that said “keep that old content in D1”... They’d be playing the [i]H.E.L.L.[/i] out of it non stop!!!!

The Dreadnaught was cool and mysterious. I spent many hours playing and exploring it. It lead to a lot of different areas. From Strikes, Events, and Quest. I thought it was Bungie at their best. They might as well bring it back. They sure seem to have a problem making new content.

Went back to it yesterday and while there is stuff to do there, it isnt really exciting to me once you finished all of your quests. Haters go download D1 and go to the dreadnaught. See for yourselves instead on relying on nostalgia. Then come back to me and criticise
