Casuals and whiners ruined the game. People scream for nerfs and handouts. Cant have anything challenging or unique locked behind a challenge because everyone will scream for a participation trophy. Hell the forums are blowing up over a puzzle lmao.

You might want to re read and wipe the salt from your eyes because we never wanted bounty spam and those hoard modes scream casual.[/quote] Your "cant have anything locked behind a puzzle challenge" line certainly screams support for the puzzle. If that wasnt what you meant then my bad.

Yea dude I'm not trying to be rude at all sorry if it came out that way but casualizing games is getting out of hand and a lot of us love this game especially. Locking content for all behind a puzzle is not ideal look at niobe. I meant people are freaking out because of a puzzle existing in the first place. We need content for all casual and hardcore, problem is the casuals have a serious problem with that and its extremely frustrating how dumbed down this game has become. Bounty spam and hoard modes.

And the resources they do have are going to Eververse.

I have no issues with eververse and supporting bungie being small now IF the money was going towards more content like they said before and it is optional and not ptw. But none of us has really seen any content from it that we know of and even atleast 1 vendor refresh with it I would be ok with it, but that's not the case.

Right. Do you know how many posts start with “Day 1 D1 player with 4,000 hours in” before the whining and crying proceeds there are? It’s basically every other post. The only way casuals ruined this game was by just leaving because it sucked so the player numbers kept going down. Stop blaming Activision. Stop blaming casuals. Start blaming the company who doesn’t know what their doing and never really has.

Casuals? You mean people that have a life outside of computer games? Or people who turn it on every so often? I've played since day 1 beta, over 3 platforms but I have a family so can only spare 2 hours max a night. The only thing I ever called a nerf for was one eyed mask because it was actually broken. Stop blaming casuals cause cause I promise we are not the ones crying on a forum

Lol.. you're entitled to your opinion my friend, but I think bungie catered towards eveyday casuals to make more money. I had 1100 hours on d1 and I'm not sure about d2 cause I moved to PC, I would say I'm a hardcore player but with casual play times. What I'm saying is casuals do not come to this forum to moan about the game. Terrible decisions by bungie have put the game where it is, not casual players (who by the very definition of their name) would just move on.

good grief, the game is a mess... the player interface needs major work, large parts of the content are more annoying than fun, and the dev are ignoring obvious problems that are point out again and again by the player base to make a big flipping puzzle. so you blame the player base for the game's problems? face palm

They are a part of the problem tbf. The game could be a hell of a lot better with bug fixes too it's been far from in a great state for a while. Me personally I'm not affected by any of the bugs off the top of my head (couldn't access tower and edz OB a few times but I did a small work around no problems) pvp, hackers and mm plus actual challenging/rewarding pve endgame is at the top of my list. As for them ignoring the forums, I would too considering it's full of whiny ❄ hurling childish and rude insults consistently to bungie with the very small amount of constructive feedback being buried under it. This is such a toxic place to be. Just an observation and my opinion obviously.

Everybody ruined the game. Casuals/whiners brought us all these hand out exotics because the hunt for them took too long and the neutering of difficulty for middle tier activities. Hardcore players brought us the focus on only the end game and absolute garbage quest grinds because they needed long term goals. And a mix of everybody called for this massive power boost to fulfill this power fantasy everybody always cheers about. And now basically the game has turned into modern World of Warcraft. Which hates the journey through the game so much that it does everything it can to skip straight to the end. Has turned into endless grinding through mindless activities for marginal rng stat increases. It's so insignificant there is no real drive to get the best gear for most people. The power fantasy has gotten so out of control everything outside the hardest things in the game are an absolute joke that you'll go through on auto pilot without even caring. But they sure will make sure they constantly deliver a wave of cash shop cosmetic items. Bungie obviously spent to much time around Blizzard learning how they turned the best mmo ever made into one of the worst mmos on the market that has bleed players for the last 12 years. Which started hiding players home country when more than half the players were Chinese. Then they turned off sub count all together when every other game caught them. It's kinda funny that now in Destiny I probably see more player names written in Chinese maybe? than in English.

由Badman編輯: 1/19/2020 1:49:43 PMWell in World of Warcraft the raiders slowly moving the entire focus to just the end game caused a problem. As the devs abandoned everything else they ended up with a mass of players sitting at end game very quickly with only a small portion going into the hardest activities. So you end up turning a large portion of the end game into filler content because you need to give the people something to do. Destiny now just powers every new player straight to the final 5% of the game and immediately throws on heaps of filler content to keep them busy. The removal of hard mode from all story missions should have been the first major warning. Then the max level purchases and the light level boosts. You may have not wanted bounty simulator but we followed the same path and ended up in the same place.
