I feel like surrounded rarely ever procs. They need to change it to be more like rampage where if 1 enemy is around you you get 15%, 2 gets 25%, 3 or more gets the 40% (or whatever the number is, I think it’s 40). And the range needs to be widened as well. This should be S tier perk is worthless most of the time.

The issue is that it requires 3. I find myself in 2v1 situations all the time and I can win those if I act fast but 3v1 is next to impossible I'm not a god. It should proc on 2 oppinents for consistency and increase time and damage for every foe after( x2= 4secs+ 20% x3=5secs+25% x4=6secs+30% ).

It proc's in 90% of any area in D2. And if there are 3 enemies on your minimap it is already procced.

I got a steelfeather with grave robber/surrounded which I thought would be a great close range add clear machine, but it’s really hard to proc. Got to stand right in the middle of a cloud of adds and wait a few seconds for it to proc, but then as soon as you start killing or moving it’s instantly gone. Only really useful if you stand in a mob of adds while shooting a major. Synthoceps perk procs wayyyyy before surrounded, and last wayyy longer, and it’s basically doing the same thing.

I don't think it would really make sense to proc when only 1 enemy is near. You're hardly "surrounded" when there's only 1 enemy. Even with 2, it's hard to really consider that surrounded. They could instead have it go up in damage after more than 3 enemies are around you. It would get the current bonus with 3, but a bit more with 4, and 5, and so on.

So by someone just being near you, you’d get a 15% damage buff? Could you imagine that on six shotgun in crucible? Dumbass.

The range in which enemies are detected by it is very small, you need to be in their face to proc it which is a big down side when using a MG or a HC

Totally understand your point of view. Surrounded is really good for Gambit and shotguns. Other than that, it's incredibly situational. I'd say just add a small change to surrounded. "Kills while Surrounded refill the magazine from reserves." Hell, they could just make that the mod.
