I'm not sure if PS has somewhere where it lists "Recently Met Players", but that might be your best bet. Reporting via PSN is your only real play here, as it's a PSN ID. Having looked at your match history, it was pretty obvious who you were talking about, however his Bungie profile has a different name so reporting through Bungie won't achieve what you're after here.
