I feel like almost no one realizes that if you grind, you get a bunch of Enhancement cores through Clan XP. Hawthorne hands them out like candy; I don't even play terribly often and I have shitloads of them.
Just start and register a one man clan lol

Banshee gives an enhancement core out with every bounty you complete. Hawthorne gives them out for earning clan xp (literally just join any clan and do stuff and you'll get it). Dismantling stuff will occasionally get you one. You rack them up in no time without even trying.

There is only 1 way to earn these, as rng for 980 nightfalls for the shards or 950 nightfalls for prisms and they aren't garunteed so you can do 10, 980s and not get a single shard. Have you run a 980 nightfall..... They suck
