If it was they dont have to "link" you to the other players. Win trade lobbies are fairly obvious and Bungie can ban you for anything they wish so it the burden of proof is very low.

I've had 1 programme running in the background that I know implements itself into applications and thats Overwolf. I've never cheated on this game and I play warframe more then this... why would i even need to cheat on game that's pretty simple minded. This is my first ban ever and it seems to be a permanent one and i have no idea to see whether it is or not.
Its not fair considering the fact that I finally reached end game as a solo player just farming the one pve weapon i really want and for it to end like this. I'd really appreciate it if someone can help me solve this. I know the way the game works is that once a ban it will stay. But its unfair that its implemented like this where programmes used for games can get you banned and I swear if it was for win trading due to my match history have fun linking me to other players i never met in my life...[/quote]

Yes I understand that. The logic is their and correct, However Overwolf is designed as an overlay for games. It doesn't benefit the player in and right. But due to the negligence of a bungie support team they don't need evidence or proof it is their right to ban me, however they please. This is unfair treatment. I've played warframe for a good 3 years. Their support team saved me from a ban thanks to a similar circumstance, but bungie cant even do that? that's uncalled for and unfair for those that are innocent.

Plus theirs no point really starting a argument since I've been using Overwolf for a good week or 2 without a single statement from Bungie, this happened randomly today when i returned from work. Now all i want is someone from Bungie to review my issue. But thanks to how they operate that wont be happening any time soon, so ill just leave this here until i get an official response, until then ill just play a game that has a support team...

Fair enough of their behalf, however it doesn't state that i should be permanent banned, i've read people who have tried connecting a pad have a similar issue. These arent benefiting the player with an advantage, and as they also stated first time bans are usually suspension or temporary bans, But getting an instant permanent ban means that their definitely either doing something wrong or are using a automated system as well. But its okey, I didnt pay for anything on that account just lost time = money and my end game loot. If i ever feel like playing again ill just make a new account. But the way they deal with this is just awful.

So you have the right to state that if you was banned permanently due to an employee of bungie who was being lazy and banned you for whatever reason and you wouldnt know why and you would never know that you was banned by an employee without any knowledge of why/who and if it was viewed by them at all. They dont notify you and they dont have anyone that can give you support. Have fun backing them up then. Cause at this point i dont really care anymore. If i want to play again ill just do that, but for now im returning to warframe...

As seen below, It states bans are checked correctly to make things fair for those guilty and not. I was banned within one day of playing pvp I left mid game once and that was it. I used a third party application called overwolf which is a overlay for any game that i play, so i can see stats of weapons and etc, this has no impact on the game and against other players therefore its not something that should be set as a permanent banned but that's not for me to choose. Also written below from their ban polices it states that bans would indicate if im unable to access certain activities; they would need to state that if it was just a perma ban from the game. Funny enough i've seen people trying to connect controls to the Pc version of the game and also getting Account banned. Im not the only one that got banned for the dumbest of reasons. I thought at most my ban was a restriction or a ban 'If a player receives a message that references an account or device ban, they have permanently lost access to the activities indicated in the ban message.' 'Permanent account bans are only implemented with rigorous checking to ensure that the innocent are not punished alongside the guilty. Below is what i used my application overwolf for. Which was to view ingame details and stats for gear and locations to travel to obtain and complete quests that i was unsure of. Unfortunately it seems the application i used could have been disallowed by bungie, but they have not stated that it was invalid and illegal to use. And I will repeat myself one last time, The fact they dont have a support team unlike any other game organisation goes to show they are abusing the power they have. Like the guy above you stated to protect the integrity of the game, just dont become the next me and join those that complain about getting banned thanks to third party applications that dont actually have a impact with or against other players. Seems your brain isn’t working at all. Bans are bans, restrictions are restrictions, and suspensions are suspensions. Each have different lengths of punishment. Ban = permanent. Restrictions = 2 weeks or longer. Suspensions = 30-60 minutes.

Look i dont blame you for getting your point across. I can see you wanting to help and i can accept that. But im not here to argue about how the ban system works. I just want proof of what i did wrong. Show me a video clip of me doing something illegal or whatever. Cause im just sitting here laughing. Its their system their rules. I cant do nothing but complain to random people.

But thats the thing. I've done nothing on that link. I've had someone tell me they use overwolf and never had this problem. So im really confused. Its become really bothersome and stuck in my head. I just want a message or something from bungie to explain what and why i was banned. And some sort of proof. Cause they have nothing. At the end of the day. My account is their property i have no right over it...

Understandable. I would just like some sort of information. Because not matter what they state theirs no evidence of me cheating and the only thing i can think of was me using overwolf. So yeh hopefully they'll get back to me at some point. Ill just wait until then. Thanks for the help.
