No wonder streamers are so important!!
Prove me wrong!!!
Edit: I find fascinating all the braindead zero IQ who don’t even understand the reference.
Now let’s have a big laugh at all the idiots below who call me idiot but have only LFG posts with “izanagi/divinity”
Not sure what point you're making that needs to be "proved wrong" (that's also not how burden of proof works but I digress)
But, since no one on this forum wants to apply logic to this situation involving streamers, allow me.
Streamers function in a similar capacity to polls during the pre election cycle in politics (or most polling for that matter)
Ever wonder how polls can say "X amount of Americas support this cause" when they aren't polling every American? It's because they use the sample size they did poll as a measuring stick for the rest.
Streamers function in this capacity because (for the most part) it can be assumed that a streamers regular viewer base shares similar, if not similar enough views and opinions, as said streamer.
The American electoral college is also a great comparison (despite it being archaic) a general consensus is formed (viewers = state voters) and that consensus is relayed via the EC delegate (streamer)
While you, or someone else, can certainly go "nuh uh, I watch x streamer and don't agree with them at all", I would like to point out that personal ancedote is not refutation for established precedent.
Thanks for coming to my TedTalk
