  • make the warlock melee be the same speed as the other classes melee. ive seen and heard from other warlock mains countless -blam!-ing time that our melee sucks ass. 1/3 of our ability kit is basically unuseable cause if i melee first the other opponent (asumming they are not a warlock also) can get 2 melees out after mine before i can get out my 2nd. why is this okay? dunno ask bungie why it was okay for oem to be a thing for an entire year. incompetence.

        One might call it a "Community Wishlist" Ok. Matchmaking preferences for either SB/CBMM (choose whatever the hell you want) -Put Control and Classic mix back together (so the player pool is not divided between both) Make Crucible Pinnacles exotic, (Protect the rest, protect Recluse) -Un-nerf Magnificant Howl (Maybe only NF is exotic and the Catalyst restores Mag Howl to unnerfed state. -Probably leave broadsword out of it, un-nerf desperado still Un-nerf Breakneck Is Oxygen still a meme? Has nerfing auto-reload really done anything? Adjust OEM's activation to shield breaks. (take it slow) Warlock Melee speed equalized with the rest Restore bolt speed as a concept to Fusions if it hasn't already. -Crub High impact damage fall off so the very concept of sniping someone with erentil just no longer exists. Maybe just have bolts dissipate after a set distance, like how shotguns are treated (even though for a fusion it would make more sense given the loss of energy over distance) Make all linear Fusions (minus Sleeper) Special weapons so the concept of a long-range fusion rifle transitions to them where they can actually compete with snipers. Infusion: 5-10k glimmer (This is debatable how much you want to have overdoing it be a punishment), 10 gunsmith bits, 5 Lshards (Notice I'm using NATURAL currencies). Upgrade module: DELETE Core buying: 10 of any planetary material (all present at once), 5 Lshards FLAT Prism buying: 10 cores, 25 of any planet mat. 10 Lshards (flat), 10k glimmer Ashard buying: 50 cores, 50 of any planet mat, 100 shards, 25k glimmer (Kind of a spitball, it needs to be taxing, but reasonable that it can actually be useful) Masterworking: 1-7 is fine, -8: 1 prism, 8 Lshards. -9: 1 prism, 2 cores, 9 Lshards. -10: 1 Ashard, 3 cores, 10 Lshards. Exotic: -8: 1 prism, 8 Lshards, 3 cores. -9: 1 Prism, 3 cores, 9 Lshards. -10: 1 Ashard, 1 prism, 4 cores, 10 Lshards (like lvl 10 is even that hugely impacting to justify 2 Ashards, it's points for perks damnit, and I guess bonus pts to each stat?) Armor Affinity: GONE Shadowshot: -Deadfall arrow impact causes suppressing detonation the size of the tether radius (no more, dying because of its delay) Quiver rework: Make it First Person (GG of bows): -Arrows travel at normal bow arrow speed and trajectory for all phases of the draw (retain tether planting at point of contact, tether behaves as normal.) -Draw time matches current or that of a lightweight bow (assuming they're different) -If you really like floating, drawing the arrow will hold you in the air -No air accuracy penalty Super energy: -A solid timer, I think it's good now? -ammo that matches whatever it has now (stops from spam firing wayy more tethers all over the floor) -Timer drains faster if you hold a draw beyond perfect Exotics: -Moebius: More ammo (whatever it is now with it), kills restore time (So you can use said ammo, have to be effective tho) -Oathkeeper: With indefinite perfect draw, timer does not drain faster, you can float with a fully drawn arrow for as long as you'd like (until super runs out) Damage: -Full damage regardless of draw percentage (cleaner math) PvE: -Honestly, I got no clue how it is, but retain its strength. (Buffed by precision damage) PvP: -~186 non-super body shot (one-shot low armor people anywhere) -~250 headshot (definite kill on non-super) (Super will live) -Guarantee kill if hit while tethered ( I think that's it for it) Inventory: -Vault Space: 50 a season at least -Consumable capacity to 75-100 Shaders: -Remove collections tab (or keep it, no point with this though) -Have all owned present in the shader menu, application cost that of what collections is (streamline the system) -Have preview all in that menu (No back and forth checking) -Remove the shader inventory as such (use for consumable capacity upgrade) (This could also apply to transmat effects) Everworst: -Make Silver prices fairer -Not have the dust item rotation be rigged so that some things are just never happening (or just not have a rotation for everything) -Bring all the old items back (seriously, why tf not? You'd get to monetize it.) (exclude events) (Better to structure it like Warframe, where mostly everything is present vs something like Fortnite) -Stop making things that look like they should come from certain activities (GoS lacks a ship, sparrow and Ghost while Tess/season pass has candidates for each) -More dust from Bounties (I'd say 250 and 50) (from 200 and 10) -ALL bounties should grant it (Nice job being vague about that Luke) Overall: DITCH FOMO Season Pass: -Instead of buying ranks in the final weeks (unless you reallllly want to keep it), have consistent double XP until the season ends, allow catch up without purchase. -Sound familiar? That's because that's the Clarion Call from Year 1. Energy weapons: -Restore the elemental mod slot. (Tractor is even now, there's no real excuse) ---OR if you're sensitive about people changing on the fly, have it only done by banshee (not ridiculously expensive) --If you're sensitive to people only using 3 copies of one gun like I've been told Recluse, there's another reason to make it exotic. -Other weapons, it really doesn't matter and shouldn't bother you what people choose to do. I want a solar Quickfang. Weapon lowering: -I'm sick of this having no manual activation, do it (Down on the D-pad or whatever that is on PC), and --stop nearby enemies or taking damage from forcing it up (did it perfectly in Halo) Emote Wheel: -Up on D-pad, -choose from personally organized wheel with stick/mouse (copy Warframe) Ghost Cam: -An option in Nav mode that throws ghost out to act as a free cam -Good for photos or recording (because why should only Bungie have the luxury) (disable in public PvP) https://www.bungie.net/en/Forums/Post/254375640

          • How about toning down the PvP requirements for pinnacle and exotic quests? I can already hear the impending phrase: "A-huh-huh, gIt GuDder, scRuB!" And yes, that is exactly how stupid it sounds to me whenever it is said. The only reason I ask for the requirements to be toned down is because the very same weapons we are trying to achieve are what wall us off from obtaining them as well. It's like Black Friday where everyone races in to get the latest game console/PC on the cheap, but the people who get there first suddenly form a blockade to keep everyone else from ever getting close. The only pinnacle weapon that I feel isn't highly restricted is the Recluse, needing only Comp/IB wins and glory points; everything else depends on either an absurd number of kills or multikills that only someone insane or talented could achieve.

            •Buff the stability and impact of auto rifles •Buff the damage falloff and stability of sidearms •Give scouts back some (not all like y1) of their aim assist •Revert the range nerf for 110 rpm hand cannons and increase their precision damage against enemies in PvE. •Revert Recluse back to where it was in terms of its perk damage, but change its perk to “kills with OTHER weapons increase this weapon’s damage”. So you’d have to get a kill with your kinetic or heavy for the damage boost. To compensate, the timer for Master of Arms doesn’t begin until you switch to Recluse and lasts longer. •Add an innate Champion mod to all quest-based exotics (ex: Outbreak with Overload Rounds) •Make the catalysts for all non-quest exotics add a Champion mod (ex: Borealis’ catalyst adds Anti-Barrier Rounds) •Remove Hard Light’s screen shake. Decrease its impact to compensate. •Revert Rampage’s and Kill Clip’s damage to what they were before. Slightly decrease their duration to compensate. •Revert Whisper of the Worm’s infinite ammo •Increase the casting speed of Warlock and Titan class abilities. •Remove Moving Target from Sleeper Simulant. Add a perk makes it effective against both Barrier and Unstoppable Champions to give it a use in PvE. Those two make sense because Sleeper fires a giant laser. •Make linear fusion rifles besides Sleeper special weapons. Decrease their damage and aim assist to compensate. •Revert Breakneck to how it was before it was nerfed. •Revert Redrix’s Broadsword/Claymore to what they were before they were nerfed. •Increase Warlock melee speed. •Fix hit detection for all melee supers. •Allow top tree Shadowshot to kill Guardians in a single direct hit (if it doesn’t already; I’m now 100% sure). •Rework Meganeura. It now stacks 5 times and increases precision damage for each stack. The increased Dragonfly damage is still present. That’s all I got for now. I’ll add more things it I think of any.

              Alright, so IMO the problem with PvP has never really been a "nerf this/buff that" issue. It has to do with how the mechanics of PvP play out. PvP has [i]enormous[/i] competitive potential with the many variables that go into gameplay. It requires thought to win, but not quite enough, and I'll explain how. [b]1) Exotics[/b] There are two problems with Exotics. The first is that with the exception of MIDA and TLW, the thought process for Exotics seems to always be straight power output. That's all well and great for PvE, but in PvP, the majority of Exotics become mindless equips. So, you take Exotics, especially Armor, out of the Crucible equation and suddenly, your build requires much more thought. You have to push Armor 2.0 to its limit to maximize your builds. You don't have that OEM to protect you while you bull-rush or Shinobu's Vow for an extra nade. Those abilities now become highly precious commodities that you must take stock of as you build your skillset. As an added bonus, you don't have to worry over nerfing them into the dirt either. The second problem with Exotics is that too many of them are not player intrinsic, or specialized. Why don't we have more Exotics like MIDA, that actually require improvement of basic game mechanics to maximize its potential (navigation and reading radar), or TLW which is a specialized Exotic for a specific playstyle? If Bungie made more Exotics like MIDA and TLW for PvP, it wouldn't be so bad to allow them in. [b]2) Supers[/b] I have one simple question: Why do Supers charge passively in PvP? You could have just over half Intellect and go AFK most of the game. Then, you come back and assuming you haven't lost due to mercy, you could use that super to snatch the game out from under the opposing team. For nothing. Solution: Modify the Intellect stat for PvP. Now, you gain X amount of Super energy per kill, and per OBJ completion. When an opponent kills you, you lose Super energy. I'll crunch the numbers at some point when I have time and post them here. As far as grenade and Melee, that's a bit trickier. [b]3) Ammunition[/b] So one thing I do agree with is that Special ammo is abundant. Overly so. Nerfing Special weapons themselves won't fix it. So there's a dual exchange that needs to happen between weapons, and the way ammo spawns in Crucible. Bring back Special crates. Two crates, one in each player spawn. The first crate gives you a full magazine, the second one gives you half a magazine. When you die with Special ammo, you lose half of what you have. One round left? It's gone. Three rounds? You drop to one. Five rounds on death drops you to two on respawn. This ensures that the enemy team will almost HAVE to use most of their special ammo to drain yours, and it will force tactical decisions and tempo change in gameplay. Do you mow down the enemy team, or do you wait to pull your Sniper and bait Heavy round? Bring back the Heavy crate. It spawns in the DEAD CENTER of the map. I don't care if you have to put it on top of the column on Burning Shrine. Make Heavy high risk, high reward. When you die carrying heavy ammo, you drop the equivalent of one Rocket for all Heavy weapon types. Finally, move ALL explosive weapons to the Heavy slot. Anything that is not Explosive, MG, or Sleeper Simulant moves to the Special Slot. There's no reason for Whisper, or Queenbreaker to be there. [b]4) SBMM[/b] In P2P matchmaking, this is the bane of every player's existence. The lower tier players are ensured they never have a real challenge at the cost of better players facing awful lag. Bungie has proven in the past that they know how to make good and fun game modes. So in the spirit of Halo, I say they bring back Rift, along with crazy iterations of Infection, CTF, SWAT and so on. Make an Action Sack style playlist, where you go in and complete crazy bounties for loot. Then you have Ranked, with individually selectable game modes (survival, Control, etc) that has your Valor/Glory. You should EXPECT to get stomped in this playlist, and no amount of MM is going to save you.

                Nerf Tess I'm not saying to remove her, I understand that Bungie needs to extra income to support the game... but it feels like the majority of our gear is reskinned reskin reskins because Bungie wants us to feel bland and hobo-ish so we'll pony up for the shiny Everse gear. If Bungie weren't so focused on making Everse gear "tempting" at the expense of all the other game gear, we might get some new, desireable raid or crucible gear. If not for trying to promote Everse sales, we might see more exotic ghosts and sparrows in pve or pvp, somewhere outside of the mtx shop. We might see more armor ornaments for our gear, rather than only Everse or IB gear. Of course, factions armor had ornaments as well, but we all know how Bungie rendered that armor obsolete once they decided we didn't want factions anymore and armor 2.0 launched. Again, I'm not saying to remove Tess. Just stop focusing so heavily on her and stop charging ridiculous prices for Everse gear. No more "Festival of the Cost" or other greed based puns taking the place of holiday names. Let us enjoy the holidays without using these supposed "community focused" events as an excuse to go whaling while you give the middle finger to the majority of the community. Charge reasonable prices that are more fair knowing that the vast majority of your community can't spend hundreds of dollars on holiday items. Instead of charging $15 per character for costumes, charge $5-8 (preferably $5). Instead of $8 for a randomly rolled sparrow skin that has a high chance of being useless, charge $5 for an ornament that can be placed over other sparrows. Instead of selling silver in bundles so we're forced to spend more than we need for the items we want, allow us to buy the amount of silver we need. Instead of upgrading Everse at every opportunity, take a few weeks to upgrade all the planetary/tower vendors for once.

              • Take what they put into creating Armor 2.0 and make Subclasses 2.0, and add some old D1 perks such as Suncharge. Buff Shotguns (in PvE, of course) Dedicated Servers (been reading up on them, and can definitely see why so many want it) Character Editor. Our guardian talking more. Vex Combat frames.

              • Replying to this thread sounds like a waste of time, but my number 1 request... can we get an update on D1? Let's go back to having exotic swords, class builds that feel different, trash PVE mobs, etc. Just add some vault space and some new content.

              • Double the amount of Masterwork core bounties available. double the amount of bounties and quests that can be held at once Increase the amount of legendary drops from chests. Allow us to collect bounties from orbit Remove masterwork cores from the cost of infusion. Give us more unique weapons and armor lower prices in eververse. buff every blue gun in the game to the point that recluse is useless :)

              • I think black armory had the most unique rewards for a content at least. Like 10 different emblems, 7 shaders, unique ship, sparrow, weapons, two sets of brand new armor for all classes, ghost shell, puzzle dungeon, never ending possibilities with forges. 450 autos need a ttk or ease of use buff/ pve buff, rocket launchers need a pve buff as well.

                -More dedicated loot things like I can choose a powerful helmet or something along those lines as well as the hardest content should provide the greatest advantage loot wise. They did well with shadowkeep where there are tiers to pinnacle drops which predicts how high of a powerful buff it will provide. -More in game earnable cosmetics or provide a way to earn certain ways to unlock things a good example is the harpy shell from eververse can be bought fro the store or you can earn it from the third encounter from garden of salavation. -refocus on making the best gear(looking, functioning, and powerful think fatebringer or 1k) and achieving max light come from doing raids, nightfalls, trials, and competitive. -Ingame LFG -Quality of life things like load outs and UI upgrade. -Factions and trials to return when they are ready -A large exotic and underperforming items buff

              • I would like to see less duplicates. Getting too many primary and special weapons from pinnacle rewards, and when I do get armor it's the same thing over and over. 4 robes from a single Garden of Salvation raid is ridiculous. So is getting boots to drop 2 weeks in a row after completing the dungeon. Getting 3 cloaks from back to back EP encounters sucks too, especially when your very next drop on a different day was another cloak. My solution is a structured drop system like the original Y1 Escalation Protocol had: 1st drop was class item 2nd drop was boots 3rd drop was gauntlets 4th drop was chest 5th drop was helmet
