Didn't Luke Smith state you would get bright dust dropping as you played the game.

They're 3000 glimmer each, so not dirt cheap. And from the 36 I picked up today and 36 yday from drifter, ikora, zavala ,shaax, and Eris, only 4 offered dust as a reward. I've played 2 full days nonstop, and I've 300 dust n that's including doing the 2 weekly gunsmith ones which I think give 50 each

The weekly bounties are so easy to complete, and if you do them on all three characters that's a hefty sum of dust. Plan your play time differently, the game is different now but the resources to succeed are still there.

I’m not in love with the state of bright dust, but I agree with you. I don’t get some of the complaints. I started shadowkeep with 15k BD. I have purchased 1 exotic and 2 legendaries and I now have 16.5k. Unless you try to buy everything and give in to all the cool impulse buys, BD isn’t hard to manage. I’ve got heaps of problems with the lies Bungie told surrounding eververse, but the value and availability of BD isn’t one of them.

They really aren’t though. 3600 doesn’t even cover the cost of one exotic you might want and that is a lot of time spent doing the same shit over and over instead of playing how you want. It is a really poor system.
