I had this same thought while watching the latest Bungie video. It seems there's always- -A new beginning -Everything goes forward from here -A new direction -A new start that will continue forward It would be nice to simply have them continue with what has been built, but I gave up on that when I saw how Destiny 1 was thrown into a dumpster and they wheeled Destiny 2 out - having learned absolutely nothing. Here's hoping.
