Yes there is, it doesn't aim for you but it makes the bullets hit the head easier. Its the reason why everyone uses hand cannons at the top level game.

WRONG! everyone uses hand cannon cause they're easy to use because of aim assist. If they stop giving out free headshots we might actually see some different guns *gasp* at high level games
