As Rasputin sent in reconnaissance drones to scout the aftermath, the irradiated psions gathered together and slowly grew into a single mass of flesh and bone, all the while a pulsating aura of psionic energy transformed the nearby area to the will of the mass of flesh.

As the abomination grew in size, Ana Bray received a transmission from Rasputin that something was not right. His recon drones had been shut down and he was not able to detect what was inside the area using any other measures.

A huge burst of energy had been released from somewhere in Freehold, and was slowly expanding. Radar after radar were slowly destroyed, limiting her time to examine what was going on. As she examined the data from the energy release, another transmission from Rasputin appeared on her screen. Rasputin detailed what had happened beforehand, and now what was happening. His words on the situation were something like “huge mass of flesh... energy field... countermeasures deployed.”
