As far as this question goes I’d have to say Insomniac Games, by far. They always put plenty of love and quality work into their games and they consistently deliver unique and enjoyable experiences. From my childhood playing the original Ratchet and Clank games, to resistance 3 in my teen years to now playing marvel’s Spider-Man as an adult they’re a testament to the notion that video games are an art form. Every game from them that I’ve played (excluding the ratchet and clank games that came after a crack in time) ooze passion and clearly display that the people who work there are having as much fun creating the games as their fans who play them.
a second choice by me would be CD projekt red but they haven’t had enough of a track record yet for me to properly say that they’re the best, as the one big hit they have is the Witcher 3. It remains to be seen what their future holds as Cyberpunk holds much promise but it’s impossible to tell right now if they can continue to consistently deliver the same quality of game as the Witcher games.

由CallMeDFS編輯: 6/7/2019 12:24:03 PMI think I would have to say Rockstar and Respawn. Rockstar has always been a little close because one of my first gaming experiences was GTA 3 on my uncle's ps2 and their amazing work in their following games (I especially liked Red Dead cause friggin cowboys man) and Respawn has also writhed it's way into my heart with Titanfall, the absolute masterpiece (In my opinion!) that was Titanfall 2, and even APEX Legends. Another one of my favs would probably also be Crytek. I've only heard the legends of the monster that was the original Crysis for PC, but I played a metric fuckton of Crysis 3 on 360 and loved absolutely every bit of it. It just had beautiful graphics and environments for it's time, outstanding mechanics, solid multiplayer, and an absolutely amazing score written for the game. Everytime I still hear the Menu Theme it just sends shivers down my spine.
EDIT: And I guess I have to include good ol' Bungo. Even though they've had the Shadow of Activision looming over them for quite a time with Density, I still can't shit on them all too much. They did bring us Halo afterall. Even if a lot of it was under Microsoft jurisdiction, nobody can deny that they were great games, and that Marty did a damn fine job at making masterpieces for those games. (We still miss you, Mr. O'Donnell!)
3 回覆Eh... my old rule is no longer true. It used to be. “Three big B’s of gaming” Bungie Bethesda BioWare. But all of them kinda lost their souls.

1 回覆Bethesda(I’m forgiving them for the 76 fiasco) as long as the get their shit together for the next game. Gearbox has had consistent quality for a while Ubisoft has actually been doing really well over the past few years. I think once they shifted from just pumping out sequels every year their game quality has skyrocketed. Hopefully they can keep it up

I really like Bethesda Despite the blunder that was Fallout 76, there has been many updates and it has turned into a fun game to play with friends. I have spent countless hours playing around with mods and I still do in elder scrolls & fallout games.

I don't really have any developers as a company that really stand out to me. Most companies have had some blunders in the past 15 years. So there's not any companies where I'd be like "Ooh x is making it!". There are some designers that I'll be immediately interested in what they're doing like Luke Smith at Bungie though.

2 回覆由Combat Mind編輯: 6/4/2019 9:40:00 PMTeam Cherry, the people in charge of Hollow Knight. They release one of the greatest quality games of all time, make free DLC for it, and instead of making one big expansion they said “-blam!- it, let’s make a new game”.

I know I posted earlier, but I just wanted to say this. I personally think that indie devs need to get the attention the so rightly deserve. They put more passion and thought into their games than most triple A game companies these days. Many of them have my respect for the amount of work that goes into their games.

Easily Nintendo is the best. 1. They are the reason video games exist in the way they do today. 2. They have been massively influential in every area of game design. 3. They consistently release extremely high quality games. Obviously there are outliers to number 3, but when you've produced hundreds of games, I think they get a pass.

1 回覆Square Enix. They have made the Just Cause series (which I love), the Final Fantasy series (which is famous, classic, and I love), and the Dragon Quest series (which is famous, classic, and I love), among other awesome things.
