Did you let the psyons turn into flayers? You have to kill them before they turn. I know that was my issue last year. The quest does a poor job explaining.

That doesn't sound right to me, I did the heroic well under level in Warmind and all 3 shielded with a different element? Might recall that bit wrong but it still progressed on completion. Pretty sure it took me 45 mins or so originally.
