Any LS in an old Ford anything gets under my skin. The thing I find comforting is that some of the commentators seem to be tired of it too.
In a Mecum auction about a month ago there was a cool old '40's Lincoln that originally had a flat 12 in it, that someone replaced with yet another LS. It didn't sell simply because it lacked the original engine.
Barrett Jackson usually has old cars with their original engines. Last year there were plenty of Hemi-Cudas and old Mustangs that were barely driven going on sale.
Those will be this weekend. The ones with the LS motors and such were the ones the do earlier in the week.
I wonder how many Austin Healey's there will be. At out local auction we normally see maybe 2. This past year, 16.
