New Indie Dev - Old titles

So I've been a Bungie fan for... well a very long time. Bungie has an amazing opportunity here to breathe new life into some of their older titles, now that they are an Indie dev. The one that I'm talking about in specific is Oni. The game is a third-person shooter with a focus on hand-to-hand combat. It's setting is a near-future dystopia that is on the verge of collapse. Right now, with all the buzz around CyberPunk 2077, there's a small cyberpunk renaissance going on in the gaming industry. This would be a great opportunity for Bungie to produce a remake of this, in my opinion, classic game. Since this game was released, Bungie can bring their 15 additional years of experience into it. Bungie has created a name for themselves with their stellar first person gunplay, and could bring that into a remake. They can release a more story-driven game that they are striving for with Destiny. Oni was also supposed to have a multiplayer. Maybe Bungie could return to their Halo: Reach multiplayer formula, or continue on the same path that Destiny has... or do something totally different. I think this is a pretty cool time for Bungie. It's the first time in a very long time that they are totally free to do what they think is best. What do you guys think? Should Bungie do a reboot of this game (or other titles), or should they look to continue on to a new frontier and look towards new IP's?

Except Bungie isn't an indie dev. And I always encourage and prefer new titles over remasters or remakes. Oni was a great game, but I've already played it. Any and every developer should be pushing boundaries and working on new projects instead of relying on old ones.
