Has anybody else noticed that whenever the current meta is Shotgun+Hand Cannon, the general community is always upset with it? And this isn't just Destiny 2. Even in Destiny 1, this meta always seems to bring the worst feedback. The meta has constantly shifted, and different weapons reigned, and people voiced their grief over it, but this one in particular always shines for the worst reasons. This is just something I've noticed over the years, and felt I should say something about it. Not making any suggestions on how to fix it or how to fight it. Just pointing out something that's constantly stirring up trouble.
