Jumped on after update was released yesterday.
Went into QuickPlay. The wait time was longer than normal. It matched me up to 12, then dropped back to 0 and sat there at 0 for a short while before it began to work itself back towards 12.
The match was a different experience than of recent. I almost always play/que solo and do relatively well, not great, but not terrible.
This time around I found myself and my team continually getting dominated. After the match I would see the message “we are splitting these teams up...” I don’t recall having seen that for some time. The experience was not as fun, obviously.
Not sure if this was intended. Hope my feedback helps for a better match making experience for all.
Thanks.

I've found matches are super laggy since the patch. The other teams elo according to destinytracker is massively in favour of them. Some games i've gone against guys that are ranked 200 in the world when im ranked 200,000. I hate the way hungir has it setup to find by connection and not by skill. Thats why trials is a no go for me. Always get steam rolled by carriers.
Hello, and thank you for your report. We are actively investigating longer than usual matchmaking times for the Quickplay Crucible playlist.
I have experienced extremely laggy matches with wait times of 10 minutes at the most extreme even whilst I was queued up with 10/12 of the required players.
Currently there is no skill-based matchmaking in Quickplay, hasn't been for quite a while. But with this new update a whole bunch of pvp players have returned to the game. So yea.
