So you are in a box. You have to go outside for food and water. You are forced to go outside for the sake of longevity.
Same goes with D2. You are forced to do pvp for the sake of longevity. Don't do it? Get locked out of content forcedly.
A simple: get 5 wins OR 5 heroic strikes. Complete trials matches OR par score a nightfall.
Simple as that.
As shitfest as pvp is, many of us avoid it. However, new things are a reason to play. Problem is, new things force us to play it.
Solution: either split challenges to accomidate both at once with options. Or split pve and pvp totally where a character created under one can't do anything with the other. Same loot, no forced things you don't want to do.

Please post a video or link to how you get the armor maxed whilst skipping pvp. Please, I would love to see how. In the meantime, you need to learn the difference between whining and feedback. Never once did I say it was too hard or such, I simply stated I hate doing it. Then offered the same workaround that was put in at the end of D1 of choosing between 2 objectives.

Lol, being put in a hard place and threatens a mute. Oh no, not the mute button! I'm going to die! The game is built to be core PvE, and Bungie even admitted being tossed in last minute in D1. Then it killed how D2 operates. Asshole elitists like this OP show why both sides need to be completely separated. Keep that cancer over on their own side of things.

Too be fair other than the looks there is no point ... within an hour of forsaken it will be under powered , it doesn’t help in the raids as the power cap is stil 385 I don’t see why people don’t like having a go at all of the game Personally I’m not a fan of running missions I have in the past but I quite like the look of the armour so it’s my choice Pve or PvP quests aren’t that hard just take time. If you want it just do it ... none of this splitting the game up crap

It's not a matter of function, but giving me something to do on D2. I normally don't care about PvP, but the current state is a disaster at best. Bungie even admitted it is broken but does nothing... Mix that with bad luck, terrible matches, and idiot players, and 3.5 hours later comes the 5th win. I want to play and have fun, not be forced to do things I don't have fun in. As said, shoulda kept D1Y3 where you got a choice between the PvP way or PvE way.
