The amount of crap the community threw because of fusion grenades... this is a change that they made because of a community request.

Poorly worded run on sentence. Let me try again. The issues that I have with grenades relate to the whole weapons/abilities rework that was implemented in D2. How bungie decided to rework weapons/abilities is based on decisions they made around PvE and PvP. Mainly the relationship between the two and what kind of gameplay each should have. I disagree with some of the changes that Bungie made to the core of the Destiny experience and as a result I disagree with the changes to grenades.

That's clearer thanks. Yeah I agree. I honestly think they should've kept things more similar to Destiny 1, including grenades. Especially weapon slots. No one snipes anymore and double primaries are dumb and uneeded at times

由Elessar編輯: 4/24/2018 5:34:15 AMFor me PvE should have a sense of seriously, mystery and lots of enemies. That was lost in D2 and replaced with lighthearted silliness and less enemies. The most fun PvP experiences are in the party type games where things are unbalanced but it's okay because everyone is having fun with explosions. Halo big team slayer? So much fun. Destiny 1 was more of a party game, sure stormcaller was broken and should charge was lame but it felt like more of a party.

由epicperon編輯: 4/24/2018 5:43:17 AMI think D1 was more serious with the 3v3 sniping meta. Now D2 pvp feels like a dumb party game that was made into a team shooter with a bunch of bullet hose weapons in the meta. The engagements went from "who has the most skill" to "who has more players to back them up". I hate games where you have to rely on a team cuz unless you have a bunch of friends to play with you have to try to collaborate with a bunch of usually incompetent randoms. That's exactly why I got sick of overwatch. I don't mind the pve in D2 though. Yeah D1 was more fun, but D2 has a better story. I just wish the content in D2 was less repetitive. We need more strikes

D1's story is poorly written but D2's story was patronizing. I'm playing through the story and thinking "I'm at least 10 years older than the target audience for this". The dialogue was not funny and took away from the gameplay. As far as gameplay goes, any kind of PvE is either kill the boss or defend the zone, that gets boring really fast. To make PvE more interesting they need to either change up the gameplay (something other than defend the zone against 3 waves of adds or kill the tough boss with 3 waves of adds) or give a compelling story that engages the player. I'm on board with you in regards to PvP.

I actually enjoyed the wit and missions in the story. However, in regards to your point about age, I am on the younger side at 16. I see where you're coming from though. I just think we need more variety than doing the same what like 7 strikes over and over again. I like that players can come here and have serious discussions about the game like this. All we need now is for BUNGIE TO ACTUALLY -blam!-ING LISTEN
