[/quote] I care because there are leaderboards and it's not right that people who are only doing 10 minute fights and NOT the actual raid are above those of us who actually run the raid! I would be ok with checkpoints if there was NO clear count for only doing the boss fight. Shouldn't get a clear unless you run the whole thing.

What leaderboards? The game itself doesn't have any, Bungie doens't acknowledge anybody on a weekly basis for clearing raids, and they have no bearing on anything even if they did have leaderboards. Most people don't raid for positions on a leaderboard or for respect from strangers. Your opinion of how other players play a raid should have no bearing on anyone but yourself.

Again, WHY DO YOU CARE? Are you playing only to get on a leaderboard? Or are you playing because you enjoy the raid? I have 170+ clears on Argos. Probably 70 are full clears. The rest are phase 1/phase 2 clears. Why? Because I find the first part of the raid boring and I enjoy helping people who haven't been able to finish it get it done. Does this affect you in ANY MANNER? I don't think so at all. You do your thing, I'll do my thing.

Since leaderboards don't matter to you then perhaps they can leave the checkpoints in but give you NO completion count if you don't run the whole thing.
