Yet most people play on hunters. Lol.
The top skill tree of the nightstalker is amazing in pvp especially the invisible on dodge (even for the reload your weapon dodge). The biggest thing about that class is the ability to go invisible and catch people of guard. You need to tether in advance either to shut down a super or to lock down an area.
Golden gun is amazing still. Fyi you can choose the top skilltree of gunslinger and just don't unlock the 6 shooter perk. Now you have deadeye golden gun with normal 3 shot time for pvp. I reset my Hunter to do just that. It works so much better.
The boots frostee5 are amazing and give you so much more movement abilities.
The arcstrider is really good add clearer in pve and the super is still good in pvp. The arc bolt grenade is really good and the bottom skill try plus lucky raspberry can give you so many grenades.
I feel like the classes are more balanced than ever. I personally play all three classes. Half the time I forget to use my class abilities no matter what character I am playing on.
My favorite chars being striker because I like the movement and the ability to stand my ground. Then I like stormcaller.
Then goldengun or nightstalker.
In D1 I mained voidwalker.

Against enemy hunters you pretty much see them no problem. When ever I've been "blind" from a smoke bomb or being tethered I see them no problem and gun them down. It would be a different story if it was proper blind, like phase from Paragon, but it's not... You still see and shoot them all the same.

Really? Because when I had stomps I'd still get out runned by titans. Infact I snuck in behind a titan doing the whole sprint melee thing while carrying a sword (back when I used stomps), he out ran me and I never caught up.

that's the only good dodge hunters have only because it drops aim assist while you're invis.

the top node isn't better than the bottom node. chain of woe isn't needed nor is a exploding throwing knife. you get more benefits from the bottom node in PvE and PvP.

foetracer is the best hunter exotic for pvp. the stomp are okay but they are no bones of eao.

the cooldowns are the only thing people play this subclass for in pvp. lucky raspberry relies on RNG to reset the grenades. I would rather be able to track my opponents all game and get bonus damage with foetracer.
stormcaller imo is much better than arcstrider for pvp. they get a teleport during the super, arc web which is what lucky raspberry does but they get it for all grenades, better grenades than arcstrider, and a healing rift.
in pvp arc staff is horrible. it has no mobility, range, or evasiveness. you can easily run away or simply shut them down just back peddling.
