Not sure why people are upset by Luke's comments. The biggest complaint about D1 was the incoherent, seemingly plastered together story, which was caused by upper management in Activision hating the original story and cutting it and it's main writer a year before launch.
If gamers want a deeper narrative, it makes sense to focus on a more identifiable enemy arc. Also, he said they'd get back to the, "Darkness," at a later time, perhaps 3 more years down the road.
And as far as the Exo Stranger, oh well. She was tied to the original story that got cut, along with the queen and her brother, story arc. Ghaul, and his story seems interesting and worth exploring. Give Bungie a break. Their employees work long hard hours to produce digital content, we get to enjoy on our off time. Lighten up some.

You contradict yourself Within the same paragraph regarding characters form D1 - D2 You also seem confused when you get off topic by defending Bungie and the hard working employees because this post is actually directed specifally at one individual. BTW just curious what you do for a living?

Lol, I think I know how you misread my comment man. I'm not a hacker. If that's what you thought, I was claiming to be. I mostly read case files about violent crime. I analyze it, looking and cataloging patterns. In an attempt to one day predict crime. At least that is the premise of what we do. Really, I'm an averaged paid civil servant. Again I come from an almost always, "lighten up," point of view. There are so many serious issues, out there. To be offended by what Luke said in that interview, seems petty to me. If you don't like me or believe me, that's fine. Again, my original reply was in June. I barely even play D2 at this point. I'll just come back for IB. Have a good night.

Lol, no. It's reviewing crimes and their precursors. Basically, looking at events that criminals take part in prior to committing violent crimes, in the hope that common lesser crimes can be identified and tagged, in an attempt to prevent more serious, future crimes. For example, most serial -blam!-, start out being serial stalkers. So if someone has had several stalking charges against them, if not incarcerated, the chance they will become serial -blam!-, increases exponentially. Stuff like that.
