I want to work for Bungie

At the time of this I am seventeen years old, I am a homeschool student that is learning code in my free time. I hope to educate myself through means of college to hopefully one day develop video games to entertain the likes of you whom view this topic thread. I know I have a long road ahead of me, but if there is one thing I wish in this world it is that I, Austin Lewis, can wake up everyday and do the thing that I love doing. I have immense gratitude, and respect towards people within their field of career (game development) and I only hope that one day I may join them. Thanks for reading this, somewhat, useless article.   • 1. Education: figure out what you want to do specifically and go from there. Not all gaming degrees are good, however. Computer science is good if you want to go for programming. Art more or less needs a portfolio, and design is a bit of everything. 2. Get creating: most AAA companies require years of experience under someone's belt before hiring. Write some well typed code, create some mods for games, even doing a few basic games can help. This can tie into education. 3. Experience: probably the hardest. You could have the best mods for a game or draw sweet concept art, but not have any real work experience that a AAA would be looking for. Do what you can for smaller gaming companies, even doing some internships can go a long way. Some of this info is limited, but I've been in the same boat as you. Creating games is a lot of work, late nights, and tireless fixes. Best of luck!
