................. You do know Destiny 2 hasn't even been acknowledged and some of the "big leaks" were concept art from the original release. Reason dictates there will be a destiny 2. Soon?. You might not see it before q4 2019. It's true to say that Destiny has reached it's end of life. This is the last meaningful weapons patch that will be released. But don't substitute hope for reality. If there is a sequel to destiny, it will be available when they feel like it and not a day before.

You have a point although I believe that Activision report to the shareholders, investors on the 9th. This may give us a better idea if and when Destiny 2 may arrive.

True but if you look at the usual time an iP is announced to the time it is delivered to consumers, we are not in line with that. On average, things such as games and movies are announced 11 to 24 months before release window. This is to build anticipation. In contrast, hardware such as new consoles, new phones, etc, you usually only see a few weeks before release because as soon as you announce the new hardware, people stop buying the old and wait. E3 is the most likely venue for announcement. That's not till June. They are simply not going to make an announcement for a release 3 months later. We might get another "iron erection"in September, but it goes against the marketing practices of the gaming industry to expect destiny 2. I could be wrong of course.
