So this week, I flew all the way down to the bottom of Australia (to a place called Hobart) to talk to Open Source people about the potential APIs have when used in games using Destiny as my poster child for APIs done right! I got sick on the flight down, and I tried to fit a 40 minute talk into 25 minutes, but overall, it came out pretty decent and I had quite a few people come up to me afterwards or later during the conference to talk about it. It's also had a nice bit of spotlight on Twitter thanks to Goose using the popularity of DIM to promote it :) Big shout out to the Bungie Web Devs (especially vthornheart) as its you guys and the work you do that pushed me to want to do a talk like this and tell others about the awesome work you are doing.
