Really isn't that drastic of a difference besides what appeared to be brightness and a bit more color. IMO definitely not worth buying a console over when I can get it on the one I have. However if you don't own either, have at it.

There have been several huge shifts in the franchise as well, so it's hardly "the same thing every time." but breath of the wild is by far the most different and most expansive of all the Zelda games.

What he means us that he's too good for what the other consoles sell and thinks is only marketed towards Doritos eating, mt dew drinking dudebros. In other words, he's being pretentious. Zelda is not enough to carry nintendo on its back, and Switch will likely not see success unless they stop repeating the same mistakes.

You're complaint is that the switch only has Zelda and no "third party support" which might aswell be code for there's no CoD so why buy it which is demonstrably false. As the switch has more than the singular launch title in question you're upset that the one of the most hated game series in existence hadn't ported to the console.
