So who's excited for Final Fantasy XV next Tuesday and why?

Took a video of me using Noctis' limit break on the final boss of the ffxv platinum demo and wrecking his ass, I only took one hit.

1 回覆Just hooked up my PS4 Pro. FFXV is gonna be my first 4K game. Not native, I know, but it will look fabulous on my 75 inch 4K screen either way! Getting Darksiders Warmastered which will be native 4K/60 on Tuesday as well.

4 回覆I'm so very much conflicted. Watched Leviathan fight and was throughly unimpressed by clunky, repetitive combat in boss fights. Watched PS Access vid where they show you with two partners fighting in open world and combat seemed fantastic. I especially liked the Combos, aiming spells to avoid collateral damage and scavenging for [materia] that you shove into spells to change it's attributes.

7 回覆Played the platinum demo recently and it's pretty fun, but I'm not a big fan of the combat. Maybe it'll work better in release.

2 回覆I was fairly excited until I saw the Leviathan fight. The combat and moment to moment action looked really clunky and is looking really repetitive.

11 回覆Waiting for reviews. People so easily forget about XIII. Not to mention some major gripes I already have: 1. You cannot level unless you camp out. You could play for hours, but still not level until you camp. 2. This issue comes from camping itself. Apparently, camping ends any sidequests you had so you cannot complete them. So I can't even camp and level until my sidequests are done. 3. I saw button prompts on a major boss battle. I dislike when control is taken from me and replaced with arbitrary button presses. 4. Needs more cowbell. 5. The MP mechanic. With the current combat system it's very easy to use up your MP and enter the crippled state. Hopefully that issue is just an early game thing and MP skyrockets by late game.

4 回覆I'm thinking about getting it even though I haven't played a final fantasy game since the first one. Is there a story I need to follow or is every game a new storyline
