I recently got a PS4 from my gf for my birthday, and she got me the Destiny Collection game (since I told her it'd let me play with all my friends who've already had the game and all the expansions).
This morning I was playing and finishing the main campaign with some friends in a firesquad. Naturally, we finished the main campaign and wanted to start The Dark Below.
But when we went to play those story levels, they told me they were locked and that I needed the expansion. This isn't right, right? I tried on my own to make sure it wasn't one of my friends and even deleted the game from my console and reinstalled it, thinking it was a bug or glitch of some sort.
The problem is still there. I definitely do not want to purchase the expansions... am I missing something here? Shouldn't these all be unlocked? Please let me know if there's something I can do... this is giving me much more anxiety than I'd care to admit.
I forgot a key detail. My friends and I had started playing The Dark Below. We beat the first mission for it when the game decided that I no longer had access. I didn't think I'd need activation codes for this, but do I? I may have thrown mine out like a -blam!-ing idiot. I have no idea why this is happening.
There should have been some codes included in the case. Ensure you have used them.
If you have, you might need to restore your licenses. Here is a link to help you out.
If that doesn't work try clearing your consoles cache and then restore your licences.
Hope this helped.
