So what headset do you use and why? Is it price? Features? Both?
I use a pair of Astro a40 they their had last gen headsets on sale so decided to pick one up. I got them cause they were in my price range and they have some great drivers and a good mic andI've heard nothing but good things about Astro headsets.
Edit 1: Turtle beach is winning unsurprisingly. Default has a fair few votes to.

I've tried Palk, Skullcandy, Afterglow and Turtlebeach. They've all broken (or greatly decreased in quality) within the first month, despite my careful handling. The only set I've been able to rely on is the wired Xbox branded headset. They're 40 bucks on Amazon.

I use the Turtle Beach 800x. $300. Features: six programmable presets, noise cancellation ( this works really well but it's one drawback is the mic monitoring doesn't work when active), mic monitoring, separate adjustable volumes for game and voice. Bluetooth so you can get phone calls or listen to music on your phone. Has settings to switch presets to movie mode and music mode. Last but not least it has a magnet charging stand that doubles as the receiver and the chat is completely wireless. Worth every penny in my opinion

I have recon 50X by turtle beach. Haven't used them yet b/c I don't have the one lol...FINALLY getting the console in 15 days and 11hrs but who's counting lol. I had the x12's for 360 but opted for the 50X's instead of the adapter b/c there is only one wire with the recons.

由moist nana編輯: 10/23/2016 11:33:15 AMHad an old pair of surround sound Turtle Beaches (which i spent like $300+ on) but they broke :( So i needed to upgrade but didn't wanto spend alot so got the Sony Gold Wireless headset. -blam!-ing best things i ever bought, easy to use, comfy, no mic in my face, superb sound quality. Surround sound on a headset is quite negligible as i havn't noticed any difference, still get a clear if not clearer distinction between left and right noises with stereo.

I use the default Xbox One mics. They aren't bad sound quality, they're just fragile as shit. I use it because I like listening to music through my speakers while I play rather than through a headset. Makes hearing the game+music+hearing people a bit difficult for me.

I have the Turtle Beach XO Seven's and XP500's. I bought the XO Seven's because the XP500's were interfering with my wifi, but that's not a problem now that I have a duel band router, and so I mostly use the XP500's. The XP500's were originally a 360/PS3 headset, but work great on both Xbox One and PS4. The sound is top notch, and the lack of cords is quite nice. They were quite expensive(nearly $300), but they've been a wise investment. I've gotten more than my money's worth out of them. The XO Seven's were about half the price(still $130), and don't have the same sound quality as the more expensive set. They are still a very nice set for anyone looking for a mid tier head set.
