One Step Ahead
I preordered my copy of rise of iron a few weeks ago through Amazon to my surprise the code was released today, after a few clicks from my phone and entering my code my expansion was downloaded and now I can watch that sweet prelude which is very short and very familiar compared to the ttk one but hey I'm excited I wont have to stay up until midnight to download it because it's already been done, yay me!

3 回覆I'm pretty sure it's not a midnight release. 2am Pacific / 10am GMT if I'm not mistaken. Basically it's released at the daily reset just like TTK was.

9 回覆Yea I was wondering about the prelude. Before, the RoI symbol on the director screen was yellow, and when clicked I could watch a trailer or be prompted to pre order, even though I had already done so. But today I noticed the symbol had changed colour, and when clicked it went straight into the prelude. Why is this? Does this mean its already downloaded and will be ready to play right away?

5 回覆If you bought it from ps store or Xbox store it would automatically count as bought for you today and if would start downloading as well. I was able to see the cinematic in game yesterday, but a few days prior it wasn't available to me.

9 回覆I think that Destiny has just now recognised your R.O.I pre-order purchase and no longer needs to promt the R.O.I. offer. You haven't downloaded R.O.I, yet. It will be a big download launched at the time and date Bungie has set...

5 回覆I hate the way bungie always change the music of the in game cutscenes. It kills the whole "epic" tone for me.

1 回覆On PS4, and I'm pretty sure XB1 has a similar feature, you can set it to auto-downlaod when it becomes available. It still waits for the release date, so the Amazon method of getting the code early is probably quicker, but in case anyone is worried about having to log on and wait forever for the download, just set it to auto download and you should be okay.

1 回覆So I was excited to watch it and all but that cinematic was ready there, back when it was yellow all you had to do was selected it and press square.
