Though I hate helping the competition out there.....people are sleeping on the Panta Rhei vendor roll. Rise of Iron is coming soon....you do the math.

Oh yes. I'm a member of Club Fusion. They are amazing for Rift. My last match yesterday on Cathedral I had 14 fusion kills with Murmur after dusting it off for nostalgia. It has such a unique sound. 3 carries, 1 slam Immovable Object The Best...Around 21 kills 3.0 K/D Fusions are my favorite special. Way more fun than camping and sniping for me.

I do. My favorite is susanoo. But in general while using a fusion you are best with a warlock (long range melee) and a scout. In other words, use the warlock exclusives and have fun.

I have a Panta Rhei with Rangefinder, Rifled Barrel, and Battle Runner and it's one of my most used fusions.

Fusions were a favorite for me when Vanilla was around and I had the old 77 Wizard with Armor Piercing Rounds which actually DID over-penetrate targets and kill things behind your primary target. That Wizard wrecked praetorians. I quit using them when the fusion rifle nerfs hit. I know they buffed them, but they're not plug and play weapons like they used to be. There is now a pretty big learning curve with them and you need to spend time with just a single FR of your choosing so you get a feel for it. I don't really want to invest that kind of time in the weapon, especially since I've always preferred sniping, ever since I got my Patience/Time back in Y1. Bottom line: I see FR's as an extremely powerful weapon in the right hands, similar to a HC. However, the learning curve is so big that most people don't want to invest the time or effort to practice using one in order to really maximize their potential.
