I recently watched the new RoI ViDOC and was looking at the artifacts in the video. And the ones for Skorri, Perun, Jolder said "Lady", not lord? Do you think this is just Iron Banner hierarchy. Obviously their still Iron lords but we never knew the females went by "lady"
Also other things we learned are with Jolder and Skorri, we can now confirm that Jolder is female when before we had no confirmation and hat Skorri is officially an Iron Lord when before it was only speculated!
Edit-Thanks for clarification guys, I was just wondering

It's just respect, and a polite formality Males are commonly addressed has Lords and Females are commonly addressed has Lady Iron Banner, along with most aspects of Destiny, is based of midevil 13th century Europe knight culture, and that's why.

10 回覆I will go with Female Iron Lords, only if there weapons of choice are a spatula, a wok or a slow cooker. Wandering the Galaxy makes this Warlock a little hungry, be nice if the misses would have a meal ready for the true leader of the Universe.

2 回覆In times of old, "Lady" was used in reference to a female that was a Lord. Look at Game of Thrones for example. Sansa Stark, is still (Lady) Lord Stark over Winterfell.

3 回覆If you go back in historical context, men of pedigree were considered "Lords" or "Sir" while women of equal pedigree were considered "Lady". Ex - Lady Guinevere. You wouldn't say "Lord Guinevere"

由JimPeregrine編輯: 8/18/2016 3:48:26 AMThe PS4 Iron Banner armor does give genders to Iron Lords. Flavor text identifies them as male or female. There's a total of 4 women. Two Hunters (Perun and Efredeet) one Titan (Jolder) and one Warlock (Skorri). The other 5 are men.
