I see the three classes as such when it comes to shotgun utilization. YOU MAY HAVE YOUR OWN VIEWS
Titans: "Titan Skating" closes the gap much more efficiently when it comes to close quarters, there is speed, but there is also lack of agility, Titans can go only full speed at narrow angles. Edit: Forgot about Juggernaut. Alright, let's talk about it, Juggernaut gives you a shield while on the ground or in the air, which I can see for making up for the lack of agility, but you need to be constantly running, which can leave room for errors.
Hunters: Agility is key with hunters, they have the most aerial advantage no doubt, the only class with triple jump capabilities, blink with a shotgun and you can make sure you're a forced to be reckoned with, even at times where you can dodge a Rocket with blink just to end them with a shotgun to the body.
Warlocks: Shotgun ---> Melee. Melee is what you think about when you think about warlocks and shotguns. Let's talk about the melee with all 3 subclasses, Stormcaller's superb range can outclass most shotguns, Sunsinger can give you can extra shield after afflicting melee damage, which makes you ready to take on another opponent near instantly. Voidwalker with Surge or Energy Drain, Surge increases weapon and movement speed, Energy Drain restores a significant amount of health after damaging an opponent.
With shotguns you are already near your opponent, finishing them off with a long range melee with extra benefits makes Warlocks deadly with the shotgun. Oh yes, let's not forget to mention they have blink ;)
I talked about Warlocks a bit more because they bring a bit more to the table when it comes to close quarters combat, especially with shotguns.
What are your thoughts?

I've been messing around with a Defender using a Universal Remote and No Backup Plans. Constantly having that Force Barrier is crazy. I'm not a great PvP player but the games I play with that load out feel much easier.

1 回覆I guess everyone forgot about blink shotgun.
Titans can't blink. Bless their souls.
由Oddish43編輯: 8/15/2016 7:31:34 PMIn PvE, I'm going with Hunters. Titans have the toughness to get up close, plus Titan Skate for a rapid approach. They're good. Hunters, with Bladedancer or Khepri, can get in close unseen and unleash hell. That was my Bladedancer's favorite trick in the HoW era. It's amazing, and amazing beats great. In PvP... Titans don't have better defense in PvP, and hunter invisibility is limited. So... uchhh, hate to admit warlocks are good for anything, but... (shudders) Stormcaller warlocks. With their long-range melee, they can finish the job easily if the initial shottie blast doesn't settle things. EDIT: I haven't tried the NBP/UR combo with my Defender yet. Once I do, I might have to rethink that.

由Heidegger編輯: 8/15/2016 10:48:10 AMDon't underestimate the power of shadestep shotgunning. Also the Hunter has knee pads(Fleetfooted) Edit: My top 3 when it comes to the easiest subclass for shotgunning I would say(in order) Stormcaller Striker Bladedancer

1 回覆Warlocks more user friendly, not everyone can actually Titan skate properly so they end up running in a straight line to death.

1 回覆Warlocks by far. Stormcaller outweighs shotgun strengths across the board but voidwalker is also really good with surge or life steal. Sunsinger is also not terrible. Titans may have force barrier and juggernaut but after the past shotgun nerfs, the class with the best melee will usually be the best shotgunning class due to follow up melee kills.

4 回覆Stormcaller warlock, easiest class to use shotgun with, you can use shotgun at double range since you only need to get 40% of the health down and melee will finish him off. :p
