Gimmick users that sign their posts:
Hey blazers, NFKRZ here, I wanted to talk about those gimmick users who sign their posts. Please stop. You're like my grandmother, a 70 year old woman, that signs her texts. You don't need to fcking sign that shit! I know it's you! Your goddamn name is right the fck there!
Moral of this post: don't be an old woman.

There have been users who sign their posts on message boards for as long as there have been message boards. I remember seeing people sign their posts on the old BBS systems before the internet was even a thing. I've seen it continuously over the last 30 years in every forum and every format of message board. Most importantly, you need to recognize that it's not a gimmick or an attention-getting scheme. It's a personal preference and to the users who do it, it comes as naturally as capitalizing the first word of every sentence or choosing a particular avatar that they think represents them. If this annoys you, your only choice is to ignore it. You can't shame it away.
