Agreed. It ultimately boils down to "different strokes for different folks". You either know how to use a subclass or you don't. I've been a gunslinger main since the beginning and the changes did nothing to my playstyle whatsoever. If you don't like that the subclass doesn't have the things you listed, then it just simply isn't the subclass for you. Nothing wrong with that either.
