Again that's not why she isn't an a ultra. She wasn't an ultra from day one of TDB which was long before 3oC or she could be farmed for anything. I actually hadn't meant to reply to you, tapped the wrong thing. I was trying to reply to the first dude in this sub thread informing him you and the other person were both wrong about the reason why she isn't an ultra. It's just coding. She's simply never been coded as one.

Oh yeah! That gun was amazing! My friend got it from his very first crota kill back when the raid first released. He upgraded it a couple days later and told me how amazing it was. I was so jealous because I had gotten the machine gun from that raid as my first weapon. It me forever to get it but once I finally did, I almost never unequipped it.

I was exactly the same. Took a good twenty runs or more before I got my first one and eventually every character had one and it was always equipped. That and Gally but I just had it equipped because it was covered in wolves. I miss snipe camping the fallen tank on Devils lair during nightfalls.

Yep. Same for me. Once I got one for all of my characters it never came off. Along with fatebringer and abyss defiant in my primary slot and once I finally got gjallarhorn. I'm the same way with gjallarhorn though. I liked it because it was covered in wolves. It is probably the best designed exotic in the game.

That's a big problem for me with exotics as well. Most of them just look like other legendary guns now. Just look at Fabian Strategy and Tlaloc, they both look exactly like their hakke and omolon legendary counterparts. And the Ace of Spades is just a plain and boring design. It looks like a common hand cannon that was dipped in paint. Not only that, but exotics just don't feel exotic anymore. I think a big part of that is 3oC. Those make exotics way to easy to get. In year one, you were lucky if you got even just two exotics a week, even one. Now it's considered completely normal to get 5 or more exotics a week. Not only that though, but exotics special perks just don't warrant their use. Most exotics and their perks can be classified as a curiosity and nothing more. They aren't good perks or guns and are easily outclassed by most legendaries.

The perks are what really don't make sense to me. The ace of spades is the only year two I feel is really exotic but I looks like it's more like a rare than even a legendary. And I still don't understand why when they made the black spindle doesn't have the original white nail. That was an exotic perk. The only weapons from year two that really feel exotic are the swords. They look and feel exotic at the same time but you're not going to do much to most bosses with them so you're still better off with an LMG or rockets which the exotics of aren't great. Almost makes me miss the days where people were crying about the SUROS or last word because they were exotics and felt better than legendaries. Now it's just legendaries that everyone uses.
