I'm just going to drop a fact here that almost deems your whole post and argument invalid.
Muslim percentage in Arab World countries has been dropping noticeably. While in other areas, such as the US, and most evidently Europe, Muslim percentage has been significantly increasing.
Do with that as you will, and remember, you're intitled to your own opinion.

If I'm not sure how that doesn't actually support his argument. Muslims are leaving the Mid East to enter the West. That information is easily interpreted to say that. If you're suggesting that the Middle East is trending towards atheism, I'm not sure where you're getting your sources. Less Muslims in the Middle East makes perfect sense considering Muslim refugees have been pouring out since the Iraq invasion. Not even to mention the amount of Muslims dying. I wouldn't be surprised if there were less people living in the Mid East, Muslim or no. Causation and correlation. Show me some examples of the secular nations. I can think of one and it's an overwhelming majority Muslim country

However, it's mostly not about moving to somewhere better. Quite the contrary here in Jordan, Qatar and the UAE, where the population count revealed the number of foreigners has dramatically increased. People of different nationalities, mainly European, are moving to these countries. Which doesn't account for all the percent increase, the rest is merely tourism.
