Astrid wanders the Bloodwraith, hunting down a imperial guard that had messed with one of Slaasesh's shrines, it was slow going through due to how big the ship was, so she took small breaks to think from time to time, she was on one right now.
"Why do I kill for Slaasesh? What made me decide to serve them?... Was I created? Or did I use to be mortal?...."
She sighs and fiddles with a small pocket watch she found while exploring, checking the time.
"Ugh, I think this thing's broken. Oh well, I can always try to fix it....."
She puts it away and lays on the rock she was on.
"Do I even have a purpose outside of service? Or am I just destined to be used and discarded?..... This is so annoying! I really wish I knew the answers to these questions....."

Suddenly, a voice pierced through her head. It broke through the mental barriers of inhibition that slaanesh forced down onto its daemonkin. "Fear not, being of joy. I come to you as... answers to questions." The voice sounded wise and powerful. Powerful enough to break through Slaanesh's barriers..?
-
"You, my dear, ask the questions that matter in this universe. You don't obey blindly. You ponder... a philosophic mind is an extremely rare thing amongst demonkind. I contact you now because I wish to give you a chance to start again. You have felt it, I know. Your master's fear... join me. Slaanesh is weak. It's time is at an end. You can be at my side, your powers would grow unfathomably... tempting, is it not?"
-
"Oh, it has already noticed... in fact, ever since I have contacted you, it has tried to destroy you. But I am protecting you right now. It cannot pierce through my barriers. All it can do is watch..." A portal opened near Astrid. It was open to a strange dimension. "Come. Join me. Pledge your allegiance, body and soul to me."
-
"Freedom." As she got closer to the portal, it sucked her in, taking her through a warp tunnel. Her alteration began. Any markings of Slaanesh disappeared from her body, and were replaced with the markings of Noiratrom, soon to be God of Order, liberty and chaos.

The land around her was flat and barren, for the most part. It was a dimension of the warp, as the sky was an ever-changing cloud of purple, red and orange hues. Her pocket watch began ticking. It was working? It seemed to have been repaired, except it was counting the time backwards. The marks of Noiratrom were etched within her skin like a tattoo, as were her previous marks of Slaanesh. She could feel them ripe with power, they were warm... In the distance, she could see a massive palace. A voice boomed out of the air. "Welcome to my realm, Astrid. The formless wastes. My kingdom."

He was sitting at his throne, and a mere gaze at him made her fall to her knees in admiration. He was massive, his arms were as thick as a space marine, and his legs were even thicker. His height around forty feet, his armour was built around him, as if he even needed any. It was heavy, like the armour of Khorne. It was the same colour as the rest of the palace. His facial features were absolutely beholding, immediately making the Daemonette infatuated, her knees basically like jello. "Hello there."
