Transmogrification is a must in Destiny. But there's also the "Wardrobe System" that Guild Wars 2 uses. It's almost the same thing except you have a wardrobe that saves the appearance of every piece of armor you've ever acquired, and each time you acquire a new piece of gear it unlocks its appearance in the wardrobe. This is pretty much the same idea except in Destiny, you would have a wardrobe kiosk that has all of the armor you've ever found in the game, and you would be able to switch out appearances on the fly at that kiosk.
