Quit Complaining About "Meta Abusers," It's Pathetic
I'll keep this relatively short and sweet.
Using the meta is stigmatized in the Destiny community. For some reason, it's social suicide to use what gives the greatest advantage and the greatest chance at victory. Why is there a double standard to this rule? People only cry and bitch about "tryhards" in the gaming world, but in the real world; specifically organized sports, no one bats an eye. In a competitive environment like multiplayer, people should be trying to win! Using the best weapons is a part of this.
I'm constantly labeled, a meta whore, a Thorn abuser, a shotgun scrub and many other things. All the good players are. If you are a part of this group, that criticizes those that use the best gear, then please stop. It's pathetic and all the good players are laughing at your stupidity.

I think what rubs people the wrong way is how the game has become a 5 rifle game. You see the same three primaries in pvp. People play like they have a gun to their head. The new meta is just boring. One guy mida's at you while his partner stands back hard scoped. Its a boring ass meta where a stalemate is possible with people refusing to engage. Its nothing personal against people, but I think its a much more boring pvp experience now.

Good. If you use meta weapons it shows that you need an advantage. If you are so skilled at crucible why not use something else to show it? In all honesty though this is why PvP does not belong in Destiny. It will never be balanced since they chose the path of not seperating the two gametypes. They just need to stick to PvE and pump out actual content. Not a half assed symmetrical map so guardians can kill each other over and over again. I'm constantly switching it up and couldn't care less what other people do. If you want to run doctrine or whatever every single match, more power to you. Why can't people just let others play any way they want. Simple fact is anyone who bitches about people using "meta" weapons/classes are just not that good, or have short tempers and can't handle getting killed in crucible. Pretty pathetic.

I'm not mad at people using the best weapons. Everyone wants to win, so nobody should be blaming players for that. What I'm mad at is bungie, for nerfing pretty much every -blam!-ing gun, and making it so everyone has to use the guns that haven't been ruined yet, just so they have a chance. Bungie ruined the meta by nerfing everything people enjoyed. The meta is so limited. When I was playing iron banner, almost everyone had a MIDA. That's bungie's fault, not the player's

I've seen people who can't use the last word or doctrine of passing for shit and in my opinion no one gun is better than another, it all revolves around your play style and how you prefer to kill. I've taken down hundreds of last words, SUROS regime, doctrine I can even get away from THE TRUTHS missiles if timed right. From what I've seen, to me , there isn't a force in destiny that can't be equalled and I have over 20 days in Destiny estimated time. It's being able to overcome the meta that makes you a good player, being able to look past it as if they were just ordinary guns. As if they were just an obstacle that you need to surpass and trust me they can be surpassed

19 回覆Everything is fine, and can be countered. Except maybe Doctrine, but it's still relatively fine. Maybe a slight range decrease It's firebolts and Warlock melees that are still broken and abused

It's just funny how amazing people think they are at this game when they're running around with weapons proven to be better than everything else. Your skill and their handicap will meld together until you can't tell the difference between the two.

8 回覆A good play could get the same K/D with blues, he k even whites. If your K/D suffers when you use a gun other than the current popular ones then you may have no valid argument and if it doesn't then you have no need to say anything anyways
