this story has been making the rounds on reddit.Georgia man in his 20s had a fully assembled, fully functional lawnmower less than 30 feet away when he shot a (fully legal in most states) impact-triggered binary low-explosive target he stuffed inside the riding lawnmower that resulted in the blade becoming shrapnel that amputated his leg. this stuff is what is often used on TV and youtube to make explosions with the orange smoke.

Its called tannerite, for every 1 pound of tannerite you are supposed to be at least 100 feet away. He stuffed the mower with 3 pounds; thats 300 feet distance. Guess what? He was 43 feet away.

Oh yeah, that idiot. Serves both the shooter AND the camera man right for playing with explosives! Not that I'm not caring that his leg got completely severed, but they were both stupid enough to be standing that close and shooting the damn thing in general.
