Hello,
I finally started working on my first exotic sword mission just early this week and have come to a change of heart on the element I originally chose (Arc). I'm at Armsday Alloys.
My question is, upon completing the mission will I get to choose which one of the three exotic swords I can take or will I be getting the element I originally chose? If I were to swap my Arc sword for my Solar sword before doing ' Sealing the Blade' will I be prompt with Raze-Lighter upon completion?
Thank you

I'm not sure why you'd NOT want the Arc Sword. It's pretty much the all-around best of the swords due to the ranged R2/RT attack. Though Gjallar-sword's R2/RT IS a beast when it comes to wiping out a single Tier 2's yellow health bar.

Nope, if u choose the arc sword you get the bolt caster when u finish the quest, you can however get the other swords on the same character, if u buy the solar sword and infuse it to 280 u get the raze lighter questline, same with void, the option to buy swords from shaxx unlocks after u complete one exotic sword quest

If you started with arc then you're going for the arc sword. It won't ever give you the option again. Best advice I could give is to get ready to start the next exotic sword quest when you finish your first one. To do multiple quests on the same character simply buy a different elemental sword upon completion of the quest. Then level the new sword to 280+ and fully upgrade it & then shaxx will give you the next exotic sword quest.

I got a legendary for all three. Had all 3 in inventory then finished up the 25 kills in Crucible with the Solar on my Titan. Checked the Quests and had arc and Void. I had started the Crucible part on my Warlock and it looks like the Solar one went to it. So now I'm doing arc and Void on my Titan and need to go back into Crucible again with the Ice Cream Cone of Death to get the Solar on my Warlock. Void with Titan kinda sucks BTW.

You get the element relative to the sword you used to get the quest. If you're working on your void sword, you'll get an exotic void sword. It's possible to get all three swords at once of you power your quest line to that point and meet the criteria for the final mission for each sword type

Which ever sword you initially chose, is the one you're going to get for the exotic. If you chose arc, you're on a path to get the Bolt Caster... it won't change to another sword until you get the corresponding elemental legendary sword.
