So back in the Halo 3 days, I was a big Bungie fanboy. To cut to the chase and make this brief, there was Valentine's Day Event in Halo 3 either in 2008 or 2009, can't recall which year. Anyways, just take a wild guess what it is... that's right, Doubles. And guess what else it had? MATCHMAKING. Your logic for "finding friends" to play with is so ridiculous, that it is almost insulting to me. Listen to your community and ADD MATCHMAKING for the Nightfall and all PvP related things. You did it way back then in Halo 3... oh yeah, and without microtransactions too. Relay this message Cozmo, I expect a response from you.

I can give you at least one reason why it has not been added yet. For one you have all this elitism that was created towards the midway point of year one. It doesn't help any also when you have people within our own community who set requirements for you to be with them. Like oh I don't know must have max gjallarhorn, have max thorn, must have touch of malice and emblem and be max light and have emblem. Or you know the number one move of dick moves is asking someone to pay you for their services on a game. Now say you implement matchmaking this gets taken to a whole new level because now you get this group in matchmaking for oryx on hard and you guys work amazingly well together. But when you all get to oryx and because everyone has a touch of malice and you don't they all leave. Now yes now you get into another group but you don't work well together so you try a few times and then everyone gives up. Then you get into another one and so on and so forth. But say this goes on for at least five hours. You could just get on lfg to find a group that you think will work for you. But you don't because what you wanted completed five hours ago has now completely drained you of every desire to ever complete it. Lfg causes the same thing but I normally am able to find groups that are relaxed groups and we come up with down pact strategies that may take us a few tries but it gets done. But most people who play this game right now don't think like that all the time.

Once again we collectively bang our heads on the desk in frustration at another classic Bungle decision. Most of my friends that were playing Destiny HAVE NOW STOPPED. Either due to fatigue from zero new PVE content or because other titles are offering variety. Either way I now have to LFG crimson doubles? Really? Wow. ...can't wait for that epic experience.

1 回覆I'm a Halo Veteran but I didn't have live until 2013, so it couldn't be helped. I played all the Halos except 5: Guardians because I don't have the money just yet. Halo is what got me into gaming and Xbox in general, Bungie is the reason I game today. Thanks Bungie ?

HaloHaloHaloHaloHaloHaloHaloHaloHaloHaloHaloHaloHaloHaloHalo! chant it with my best friend whenever we play, so much joy comes to me when i play halo, not so much with destiny anymore. something so simple and its decided against for absolutely no legit reason.

1 回覆Matchmaking should be optional in every pvp missions/strikes in destiny. Before launching: would you like matchmaking? Yes/no

5 回覆They are being very strategic on the matchmaking debacle. They will wait for a huge content release to use it as collateral as a selling point.

Bungie needs some people to kick her in the rear

3 回覆I'm starting to think there are technical limitations preventing them from implementing universal matchmaking. And they're just too embarrassed to admit it. Why else would they blatantly ignore the community on such a simple issue??
-
3 回覆But Destiny is a social game! Bungie just wants us to be social butterflies and make friends with other people around the world

2 回覆A joke I heard was that all of the good people stayed at 343. Doesn't seem like much of a joke now.

2 回覆I'm not even joking any change to make this game work more like halo 3 is a good change. Best matchmaking options I've seen in a fps. Ranked/unranked playlists Party up option after a good game. Great voice chat system. Actual big team battle with meaningful vehicle combat.
forge
