"Spectacular" wouldn't really be my way of putting it. I would've much rather seen the combination of Tripod + Pyromancer work on enemies that have been tethered with Shadowshot. If I really want a boss killer, I'd rather save my exotic slot for Black Spindle or Sleeper Simulant. A legendary RL with awesome perks does the job just fine for crowd suppression.
