Bungie intended subclasses to offer 3 paths to success. Claiming two of those paths as wrong because one of them works is exactly what's wrong.
Hit detection is broken. Damage resistance is practically non-existent. Movement is not at all improved.
Want a slap in the face on top of it? I forgot which quest it's for, but Zavala says that Titans can't match the velocity of a Bladedancer. Are you kidding me? Titans are the fastest class. I'm not saying they should be nerfed in to slow moving giants, but hunters need serious speed buff.
And in reality it's AGILITY needs to have a noticeable affect. Armor. With high armour you can survive a trip mine. 194 damage. And you walk away. Recovery. I don't have exact numbers, but I feel so secure with high recovery, I dip behind cover and I'm already ready for action. Agility. Literally, does it actually do something? Me and a friend tested MIDA+ agility back in TDB by running from one end of the Divide to the other, the difference was so god Damn pathetically small. Hunters are the only one who actually struggle on the jump puzzle, they require an exotic, that thank god got brought up, just to compete with jumping of other classes.

i've watched all classes (and subclasses) struggle with the jump puzzle just as much as i've watched them sail on through. i think that says more about the players involved than their chosen characters and their perks/stats.

again, i feel it says more about the player than the character itself when they complain about struggling with jump puzzles in this game. Hunter has the easiest method past the VoG jumping puzzle (at bump-out, hop right back up and continue forward), and when i run through the tombships/wall of dicks (and when i run other Hunters new to the raid through the jumping puzzles) i swear by triple jump, but a few friends of mine all prefer the increased height double-jump to triple jumping through both parts, and i know a few more people who prefer increased control and will even blink their way through just for giggles. in my experience, the ones who struggle the most are usually the ones complaining about it being an alt character they're on that they don't play much, and that's not the fault of the character imo.

I've been solely hunter since the beta, so i don't have too much problem with the jumping puzzles. Personally, i use triple jump and for the parts i need maximum height on I just really pay attention and jump at the peak of the last jump.
