What if I actually enjoy the grind?
What if that feeling of satisfaction after doing a -blam!-LOAD of activities feels great?

Its easy to speculate about "the evil that is bungie" when theres nobody who works there looking you in the eyes. The people who make Destiny are not some sort of sniveling, plotting, hand-wringing assholes, THEY ARE -blam!-ING PEOPLE who have invested so much of their time and love into making a game that kicks ass.
Go watch ANY interview with ANY person who works at bungie and you'll get a sense of just how -blam!-ing much destiny means to them. Go, seriously, watch just ONE.

Its extremely easy to call a company or "big" entity evil by speculating that they developed a system that rewards you in a specific way. *THATS HOW VIDEO GAMES -blam!-ING WORK* And another note, by speculating all this bloody nonsense, not only are you insulting "the big head honchos at bungie/activision", you're insulting the work that thousands of developers who have poured a god damn portion of their life into something that they think is worth it.
So if you think your little rant about how destiny is all about money is going to help make it a better product, you're in the wrong place, buddy.

That you feel a sense of enjoyment from playing Destiny does not contradict my statements at all. My post also is not about trying to make Bungie create a better Destiny. I doubt they will. I also doubt they can, btw. I really dislike the derogatory attitude you are expressing in the last sentence of your comment when you have made it clear throughout your entire reply that you have not at all understood what my post is about (probably because you either lack the diligence or the ability to think about it until you have understood it).

I think a lot of people probably did try to make the best product available and thanks to their hard work and effort Destiny has these really cool mechanics (that suffer from a stiff sometimes useless UI.. NPCs that might as well be cardboard cutouts.. and complete and utter disregard for story layout as part of game design). So some of us tried to find out why ; who fugged up the recipe . I'm sure it was'nt you but Destiny as a final consumer product has some serious issues going on with it. If you can't acknowledge that then we can't even have this conversation & the only reason we are is because you seemed a like person that was passionate and not just Bungie PR

It's very sad to see a community that shits all over itself. I try not to be a "white knight" on the internet because its usually stupid and silly petty bull. And honestly, this is that. But the community surrounding BNet and the majority of DTG reddit bums me the hell out. Its ALL complaining. ALLL OF IT.

My post is a brief analysis of the practises used to hook players to a game in a potentially unhealthy way by applying scientific tools in an immoral manner - immoral both because of the ruthless exploitation of behavioral patterns rooted very deep in the human mind and because of using that to replace actual content and solid game play (which was what Bungie was and is still advertising btw). In other words: You got deceived, you didn't get the product Bungie promised, plus you are getting manipulated to put up with it and still pay to play (and pay more for the next DLC, when what you've paid for so far factually gets invalidated, and be honest to yourself: Nobody wants to play the old strikes and raids anymore using the old guns and gear when there's new, more powerful stuff around. As irrational as that is, that's human nature, and Bungie is exploiting that, too). Now go get a brain, wannabe hero.
