Should radar be removed from pvp?
Another question on my mind I personally hate radar disturbs the flow of combat , when most of the time you just sit there and camp if you see enemies on it especially in trials. And before you check my stats yes I did really bad this ib idk why maybe because I hated doing it from start to finish and it felt like a chore to do Crucible....... Perhaps just make it to where you only appear when shooting idk

3 回覆It's simple. Radar's are almost a requirement for First Person Shooters (FPS). The inferno game modes that Bungie created for Destiny were an interesting experiment, but they just don't work. All you see in inferno game modes are corner campers with shotguns, which is what you see in other games with no radar, but in those games, you can control the camera. The problem lies with the inability to control the camera. Third Person Shooters (3PS) such as Gears of War do not have a radar, but you control the camera angle. This allows you to peek around corners before entering a space to make sure you do not get shotgunned by a corner camper. Since Destiny is designed as a FPS and you do not control the camera there is no way to protect yourself, but instead fall victim to the deadly corner shotgun monster. There are a lot of skilled PVP players that really enjoy Inferno game modes in Destiny, mostly because they get to take advantage of people who don't know what they are doing. I think if Destiny allowed you to change your Field Of View (FOW) like PC games inferno would be viable, but at it's current state, it is not.

Should it be removed? Hmmm debatable. Should it be re worked? Absolutely, I think the radar was originally worked for large maps. Now the state of the game is different, make is so the radar cannot spot anything out of auto rifle range and we have a better radar in my opinion. This would allow the game to flow better. I could be wrong. A removal of radar all together, maybe for trials? I dont know

1 回覆Yeeessss remove the radar, it's really annoying when I can't do the element surprise because the whole enemy team can see me coming before i see them. Either remove it or only show enemies when they shoot not running. That's why I love inferno games, my kd is always high where as my team mates are like .03.

6 回覆How in the -blam!- does it promote camping? It's the exact opposite. It forces people to not camp because you know where they are at all times. Should never be removed. Do you really want this to be call of duty hardcore mode?
