Where can you find the stats for them? Destiny DB doesn't show stats and I don't see them in the armory anymore.

Yeah, its not that the high impacts are bad, its just once you hit the range cap(which is fairly small now) Due to damage drop off being a percent based drop, high impact lose more impact per increment than say a mid-low impact AR.(same goes for all weapons really) if you can consistently land all headshots you're good to go, but between blink, cover and sliding that can't always be done(unless they mindless run at you) I agree, I have hated bullet hoses since Atheons ep or doctor nope, not my thing.

I know what you mean. So does that mean Monte Carlo doesn't really have the range it appears to have? I know that is a medium impact AR, but it has high range. I've got a few Suros AR's that have high impact and decent range that do well, but I rolled an Answering Chord with almost Monte Carlo range and counter balance so it only has vertical recoil. I tried medium impact, but even with high stability they bounce so much, so I rolled an ARI-41 with Focus Fire and even that seems lackluster.

Range is different for each weapon type, basically only compare it to other ARs etc. Stability is different from gun to gun(even in the same weapon type) There is a hidden stat like aim assist which is basically the recoil direction and how serious the recoil is on the gun. Say gun a has 87 stability and a good recoil pattern Gun b is the exact same but a bad pattern, gun be will still have worse recoil and benefit less from the extra stability. Destiny Database has the recoil numbers of each weapon etc. So not all medium RoF ARs will have that issue.

Thanks for the clarification man. Probably the most useful conversation I've had on here. I'll have to look into it and see which AR would be best for me because my vault is filling up with so many different ones with different rolls, on account of there not being many pulse rifles I like as those are my main weapon of choice. Regardless, I think they should be buffed a tiny bit more as they are useful, but not as useful as before. It's fine they aren't where they were before, but maybe a tiny increase to damage or stability could make a difference.

No problem, I learnt a lot by looking at the "Perfect roll" threads on reddit back when reforging was in the game. They explained why what perks were good etc. I don't disagree, I think ARs should get a range buff, not to what they were at in the golden days of suros, but more than they have now.
